Technical Design

We design the audio, video, lighting, staging, camera, streaming, power, networking and control systems required for the production. Equipment selections and system designs are coordinated so every technical element works together.

Venue Coordination

We work with venues and facility teams to address room layouts, rigging requirements, power, internet connectivity, loading access, schedules, safety requirements and other production considerations before arriving on site.

Production Schedules & Run of Show

Detailed schedules help keep every department aligned. We coordinate load-in, setup, rehearsals, sound checks, presenter preparation, show calls, transitions, strike and load-out around the overall event schedule.

Crew Planning

The right technicians are assigned to the right positions. Depending on the production, this may include audio engineers, lighting technicians, video engineers, camera operators, graphics operators, streaming technicians, stage managers and technical directors.

Rehearsals & Technical Run-Throughs

Before the audience enters the room, we rehearse critical portions of the program with presenters, production staff and event teams. We verify microphones, presentations, videos, walk-on music, lighting looks, camera positions, graphics, stage entrances, transitions and other show elements. Complex sequences can be rehearsed multiple times so everyone understands exactly what happens and when.

Cueing & Show Flow

Every technical department works from a coordinated show flow. Audio, video, lighting, cameras, graphics, playback, streaming and stage operations are cued at the appropriate moment to create smooth, professional transitions. From a presenter walk-on to a major video reveal, each cue is treated as part of the overall audience experience.

Show Calling

For productions requiring centralized coordination, the show caller serves as the communication hub for the event. Using the run of show and production intercom, cues are called to technical operators, stage management, presenters and other departments so that lighting changes, video playback, graphics, microphones, camera shots, music and stage movements happen together.

Operator Coordination

Our technicians work as one production team rather than separate departments. Audio engineers, video engineers, lighting operators, camera operators, graphics technicians, playback operators, streaming technicians and stage personnel maintain clear communication throughout the event. Live Technical Management

Audio Systems

Clear, consistent audio is essential to every event. We design systems around the room, audience size, program format and venue acoustics. This can include digital mixing consoles, wireless and wired microphones, distributed loudspeaker systems, stage monitoring, playback, press feeds, recording and audio routing. During the event, our engineers actively mix and monitor the system to maintain speech intelligibility, musical impact and consistent coverage throughout the room.

Video & Presentation Systems

We build video systems that ensure presentations and visual content are delivered clearly and reliably. Systems can incorporate presentation switching, graphics, video playback, confidence monitoring, presenter displays, multi-screen content, signal distribution, recording and redundant playback solutions. We coordinate presentation content with the production schedule so every visual appears on the correct screen at the correct moment.

LED Video Systems

LED displays can create large, bright visual environments for general sessions, conferences, product launches and branded experiences. We coordinate display configuration, resolution, processing, signal distribution, content requirements, structural considerations and integration with scenic and lighting elements to create a cohesive stage design.

Projection Systems

For events using projection, we consider screen size, projector brightness, throw distance, room lighting, sightlines, screen surfaces, content resolution and redundancy. Systems can range from traditional presentation screens to larger blended and multi-screen environments.

Lighting Systems

Lighting does more than illuminate a stage—it helps define the environment and direct the audience's attention. We design lighting systems for presenters, panels, scenic elements, video recording, audience areas, architectural features and branded environments. Systems may include ellipsoidal fixtures, moving lights, LED washes, uplighting, truss systems, lighting consoles, atmospheric effects and programmed show cues.

Camera & Live Production Systems

For events requiring image magnification, recording, broadcast or streaming, we integrate professional camera systems into the overall production. Multiple cameras, PTZ cameras, camera shading, switching, graphics, playback, recording and routing can be coordinated through a central video-production workflow. Camera positions and shots are planned to complement both the live audience experience and the program being captured.

Production Communications

Reliable communication allows every technical department to operate as one team. Wired and wireless intercom systems can connect the technical director, show caller, stage management, audio, lighting, video, camera operators, graphics, playback and other production personnel. Communication channels are organized around the production workflow so cues and changes can be communicated quickly and clearly.

Playback & Graphics

Presentations, videos, music, walk-in content, graphics, lower thirds, sponsor material and other media are organized and prepared before the event. During the show, dedicated operators can manage playback and graphics while coordinating closely with the show caller and video team. Critical media can also be supported with backup playback strategies where appropriate.

Streaming & Hybrid Event Systems

For virtual and hybrid audiences, we integrate the live room with the online experience. Streaming systems can combine cameras, presentations, graphics, program audio, remote participants, recordings and platform feeds into a professionally managed broadcast. We also consider internet connectivity, encoding, backup strategies, monitoring and the experience of viewers who are not physically in the room.

System Integration & Redundancy

The individual systems are only part of the production. We engineer how they communicate and operate together. Signal flow, power, networking, control, communications and equipment placement are planned as an integrated system. For mission-critical elements, appropriate backup and redundancy strategies can be incorporated to reduce single points of failure.

Load-In & Technical Setup

Our production team coordinates equipment arrival, unloading, staging, installation and setup according to the production schedule and venue requirements. Audio, video, lighting, staging, cameras, communications, networking, playback and streaming systems are installed in a deliberate sequence so departments can work efficiently without interfering with one another.

System Installation & Integration

Individual pieces of equipment must function as one complete production system. We connect and configure signal paths, control systems, power distribution, networking, communications, video routing, audio routing, camera systems, playback and other production infrastructure. Equipment placement is reviewed for performance, accessibility, safety, sightlines and the overall appearance of the event environment.

Testing & System Verification

Before rehearsals begin, each technical system is tested individually and then as part of the complete production. We verify microphones, loudspeakers, video signals, displays, projectors, LED systems, cameras, lighting fixtures, communications, playback devices, recordings, streaming feeds, presentation computers, confidence monitors and other critical components.

Audio & Video Checks

Audio systems are tuned and checked for coverage, clarity, gain structure, microphone performance, playback levels and potential feedback issues. Video systems are checked for signal integrity, resolution, aspect ratio, color, routing, switching, content playback and display performance so presentations appear consistently throughout the venue.

Presenter Support & Preparation

Presenters should be able to focus on delivering their message rather than worrying about technology. Before going on stage, we can assist with microphones, presentation computers, slide decks, presentation remotes, confidence monitors, countdown timers, videos, walk-on music and other technical requirements. Last-minute presentation updates can be coordinated with the production team before they reach the screen.

Rehearsal Support

Technical rehearsals provide an opportunity to bring presenters, content, staging and production systems together before the live program. Real-Time Troubleshooting

Live events can change quickly. A presentation may be updated minutes before a session, a microphone may need to be added, a speaker may arrive late, or the program may move ahead of schedule. Our team monitors systems continuously, identifies issues quickly and makes adjustments while minimizing disruption to presenters and the audience.

Production Communication & Coordination

Throughout the event, technical departments remain connected through production communications. The show caller, technical director, stage management, audio, video, lighting, cameras, graphics, playback and other operators work together to respond to cues and changing conditions. Clear communication helps keep complex productions synchronized.

Strike & Load-Out

When the event concludes, our responsibility continues. Equipment is powered down, disconnected, inventoried, packed and removed according to the venue's load-out schedule. Staging, cable paths, technical areas and production spaces are cleared systematically while maintaining safety and protecting both production equipment and venue property.

Post-Event Review

Following the production, we can review technical performance, production workflows, client feedback and opportunities for improvement. For recurring meetings and annual events, these observations can become valuable planning information for the next production, allowing future events to become even more efficient and refined.
